A Brief Overview of Deltek CostPoint

Deltek CostPoint is a fully functioned Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solution for mid-sized, project-oriented businesses. It includes software for Financial, Manufacturing, Human Resources, Purchasing, Regulatory Compliance and Business Performance.

It integrates with other Deltek applications including Deltek Time and Expense.

Unlike most of the other leading Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications CostPoint was designed from the beginning for project-oriented businesses.

Deltek provides a sophisticated module for integrating CostPoint with it’s leading Earned Value Management System application, Deltek Cobra. This interface is very configurable and can handle multiple contract types. It can be automated to push actual costs directly into the Cobra database. This interface can also be used to create transaction files for use with other planning or Earned Value Management System applications.
