As most of you probably are aware, Deltek MPM, currently in the Maintenance Support phase will be moving into Sustaining Support as of December 31, 2018. There will be no further updates or fixes to the software offered by Deltek after that. The state of MPM that it is currently in, will remain.
In the Sustaining support phase you will have access to all of the fixes or service packs that were available prior but there will be no new advancements in the software.
This triggers the selection of a new cost engine and potentially an overhaul of the other components of your Integrated Program Management (IPM) system.
If you decide not to move forward with a replacement system, you should understand that there are some risks. Though advancements in EVM seem to be slow, they are regulatory and it is necessary to make sure your system stays compliant. These changes are likely to continue, but you will not receive updates to your MPM system.
