During the NDIA Integrated Program Management Division (IPMD) Winter Meeting in Melbourne, FL, Randy Steeno of NDIA discussed the updates contained in the EIA-748, Revision D, which was published by SAE on January 8th, 2019.
The NDIA IPMD is the author of and steward for the EIA-748 Standard for Earned Value Management Systems. The IPMD is responsible for updating the standard at least once every 5 years with the standards bodies it works through, which is now SAE International.

What has changed?
In a nutshell, not much. There are still 32 guidelines and, other than some small grammatical changes, they pretty much say the same thing they always have. Some of the small changes mentioned were:
