EVM Systems are now being seen in Hosted or Mixed environments.  Pinnacle has recently implemented an EVM solution with Microsoft Project on a client site and Deltek Cobra and Deltek wInsight hosted  with a Secure Cloud Hosting partner. Our client also uses a hosted accounting system, Deltek GCS Premier. 

By default, when Primavera refers in their documentation to P6 EPPM they are referring to the web. They will specifically say "P6 Optional Client" or "P6 Professional" to refer to the client.

One of changes from ANSI 748 A to ANSI 748 B is a new emphasis on the need for Earned Value Management requirements for Flow Down to subcontractors.  While the requirement is there, no prescription regarding tools or techniques to accomplish this is outlined.

Microsoft Office Project Server is a high end EPM tool that enables organizations to manage and direct projects and resources across the enterprise. It supports project teams in collaborating and in managing their project documentation and deliverables.

For organizations that have an existing EVMS capability and are preparing a project for an Integrated Baseline Review (IBR).

Pinnacle has created a number of EVM and EPM Process Asset Libraries (PAL) for its clients. Process Asset Libraries are new to the Earned Value and Enterprise Project Management world.
